Itinerary

Day 1MARRAKECH - KASBAH AIT BEN HADOU – ZAGORA (7 hours drive)

The trip will begin at approximately 07:30hrs from your hotel or riad to Zagora through Tizi Ntichka passing (2260m. alt) and crossing various Berber Villages on the way. A few stops will be made along the way for photo shoots or sip a good cup of mint tea and to stretch your legs.

Upon arrival to Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou, you will get to enjoy a short visit of this world heritage site where various Hollywood Blockbusters have taken place here; Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. A one hour visit to the Village will be arranged at leisure with a local guide.

Lunch will be at leisure in either Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou or further in Ouarzazate. You will pass by the Anti Atlas Mountains, the Berber Village of Agdez and Draa Valley. Draa Valley is considered with the largest date palm plantation in Morocco.

We will arrive Zagora late afternoon for a camel trek over the Zagora desert. You will get to experience a spectacular view of the sunset before arriving at your lodge on the camel ride at Sahara Desert Camp for the night.

A Moroccan dinner will be served with drums entertainment under the glazing stars.

Day 2ZAGORA – OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH (7hours drive)

The day will start with an early trip with a camel ride for a sunrise watch over the horizon followed with a sumptuous Moroccan breakfast. After breakfast, we will depart to Ouarzazate where a visit at Tourirte Kasbah will take place before lunch.

Lunch will be at leisure. We will then continue our journey back to Marrakech via Tizi Ntichka.

The 2 days Marrakech to Zagora desert tour will end around late afternoon and you will be dropped off at your hotel or riad in Marrakech.
